“Good location and great service”

Below is a review from one of our regular guests.

I am working for a big international NGO and got in contact with Transit Motel Airport as we had many international workers passing through Dar es Salaam but no representatives in the city. We asked them if they would organize the transit for our international staff (transfers from/to airport, handing out welcome packages, collecting mobile phones of staff leaving and booking incl. payment of other hotels if Transit Motel is booked out and letting us pay the whole services on a monthly basis). They kindly agreed to assist us and even refused to accept a fee which we offered to them. This cooperation worked (and still does) very well. I am very satisfied by the service provided by the Transit Motel and would like to thank Rachel for her support. As the name says it is a "Transit Motel" located next to the airport and therefore a basic hotel. I can not understand the negative feedbacks. As I found it clean, enjoyed the proper bathroom in each room and the beds were comfortable. I never had problems to sleep there because of noise (I slept there myself several times), but of course: you can hear airplanes from time to time, which is obvious if the hotel is just next to the airport. We never had negative feedbacks from our international workers. Wifi is for free and connection is good. Transit Motel starts serving breakfast very early to allow their guests to get breakfast even if they have to catch an early flight. PS: the price might seem high, but is inline with other accommodations in Dar es Salaam/airport region
