information to make your stay more comfortable
Transfers
We can arrange the transfers to/from Airport, Zanzibar Ferry terminal,
Ubungo Bus Stand or any other place in Dar Es Salaam. Transfers are available
24/7. Please send us your flight/ferry/bus information if you need this
service.
All payments for the transfers should
be paid to the drivers, unless prior arrangement or deposit was made.
Food and
Beverages
We provide a continental breakfast, which is included in the room
rate, between 0600hrs to 1000hrs. However for those whose
check-out time is earlier than 0600hrs, we can arrange for a light breakfast.
Please let us know in advance.
We do not have Restaurants in our premises, but we prepare light meals and
snacks, which for most transit travelers, is what they need. Meals and snacks are
available from 10:00 am to 10:30pm.
Beverages are served at the dining room at the Transit Motel Ukonga. At the
Transit Motel Airport beverages are served at the dining room and at the Bar,
just outside the main house. The Bar is open from 1600hrs to 2300hrs. You can
also take your beverage at your room.
Room service is available until 2300hrs and it is FREE
WI-FI
WIFI is available and it is free. Please ask for the password at the
reception.
Payments
We currently accept payments in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) and USA
Dollars ($) only. If you are using other currencies, please change them to TZS
or USD before arriving at the hotel. There are at least 4 Bureau de Change at
the Airport.
We accept VISA, MasterCard and Maestro debit/credit cards

Hostelite
We are registered on Hostelite, an in-hostel social network, where you as our guest can chat with other guests as well as our staff. All you have to do is to download the app ( Android or Apple) and start chatting. You don't have to enter your email address, connect your Facebook
account, or give up any private information. Just check in and go.
