I am rating this place 5 start because it does not pretend to be anything else then advertised. This hotel is the closest option to the airport, only a short drive on that very bumpy road, just by the railway racks (I have never heard a train go past though when I was there). Can be walked from the airport if you only traveling with a backpack. The staff is super friendly, everything can be arranged, nobody is trying to rip you off. They organized me a taxi to town for a pub meeting with friends on the peninsula. The driver was honest and did not try to ask for more. He was back at the agreed time to drive me back at around midnight. The rooms are basic but clean, aircon works, tv works, wifi works. Breakfast is basic but everything you need and you never have to look for someone on duty. There is always someone available. They only have about 12 rooms and are mostly fully booked - for 30us$ per room it is a great deal. Taxi from the airport is 10.000tshs. Use the official taxi service at the desk with the grey uniforms. Great work ladies - keep it up!
